It gives me great pleasure to put the information and activities of Law Centre-II on this website. I hope that we could utilise this platform to interact with our present and prospective students and they would give their inputs and critique of our activities which would help us in making LAW CENTER -II, a centre of excellence in the area of legal education and research. LAW CENTRE -II primarily caters to the needs of people who have completed their under graduate education and also engages people in Public / private employment who wish to pursue their interest in Law and have interdisciplinary approach in professional activities and an option of joining legal profession and judicial services. We have the finest cadre of faculty members who perpetually assist the students in meeting their career and academic goals.
I am proud to state that Law Centre II has produced eminent Lawyers, Judges at all levels with vision and dedication to the constitutional values. It shall be our endeavour to introduce more contemporary areas in the curriculum of legal education so that we produce a generation of lawyers to carter to the needs of the Indian society in the era of liberalization and globalization but do not lose touch with the ground realities that primary duties to all professionals is to serve and reach the common man. I am very happy that we have wonderful team of students who have prepared this bridge for us and are enabling us to make us worthy of facing the challenge of 21st century.
It would be my endeavour to take this centre to newer heights so that the students choosing our centre get an intellectually stimulus environment, assisting them in developing their legal career ahead.
We have also formed an Alumni Association, to make the experience and suggestions of our distinguished alumni available to our students. We look forward to strengthening this association and increasing the involvement of the students, faculty, staff and the alumni to develop a centre which would produce lawyers who can contribute positively in the field of law and judiciary.
